Good morning GFY!!!

Its a sunny friday in Brazil... summer is finally kicking in! We´ve spent all night working to make sure everything our clients ordered for this end of the year is taken care of and now the feeling of a well done job reigns the Dickmans Office!

In retrospective, 2005 has been a KILLER year for us. We´re bigger and better than in 2004, and this would never be possible without the amazing support we get from our clients, friends and industry buddies. GFY plays a major role in our business so I´d like to also thank all the ADULT / PLAYBOY crew for this efficient online marketplace. Also thanks to all posters of course, since this wouldnt be possible without your presence.

Its funny how people always have the feeling that the industry is crashing, sites dont convert, traffic is hard to get, the market is saturated, etc etc etc... some points might be correct, like the saturation... but this industry is showing that it CAN be professional, it CAN generate revenue even in tougher times, and it CAN make more money than in the last year.

I have been in the industry since my 18th birthday, (well ok, I started lurking and researching a bit before that) and I´m proud to be part of this evolving market. In 5 years I have seen people come and go, but the direction is clear: We´re becoming a professional, performance based industry. Companies have finally realized that you can´t cut your budget on items that interfere with your performance. You simply make LESS money when you save on content, hosting and design.

Ok, I´ll stop writing so much and get to the point...

We´re now officially closing our office until january 9. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR AN AWESOME YEAR! HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND HAPPY 2006!
