3 minute edit window..... surely this could be at least 5..

3 minutes might as well be uneditable by the time i've figured out what im saying in the edit. Is it based on 180 seconds till you click on edit or 180 seconds to edit type and re-submit? seems really short sometimes, would be great to see it lengthened.
