Love the look of it :thumbsup

KRL 12-22-2005 05:00 PM

Absolutely ridiculous and anyone who would spend $1.7 Mil for a car needs to see a doctor and get the screws in their head adjusted.

sicone 12-22-2005 05:01 PM

I had 2 of them, but I traded them for a big mac and large fries

That's rolling sculpture. The Bugatti has always been a love or hate it style of car though. Personally, I love it.

BV 12-22-2005 05:03 PM

marry me and it's yours

Linguist 12-22-2005 05:03 PM

Absolutely awesome car.. and apparently it costs twice as much to make it. So they are taking a loss on selling them.

Vanilla DeVille 12-22-2005 05:04 PM

Damn that's a sweet looking car! Hmmm... X-Mas is almost here, Stewie! *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* :1orglaugh

Don't you think a car like that would go up in value in like 50 years or so? I am sure they are not going to make too many of them and anyone who would buy it would probably hire someone just to take care of the car haha

Yep it's an insane ride, Jeremy Clarkson drove one from italy to london on the latest top gear.. he said its the best car ever

EviLGuY 12-22-2005 05:34 PM

I love that car.. if I had a hundred million in the bank I'd buy one too. :)

PimpDaddyPants 12-22-2005 05:36 PM

Is it really the best car ever - or does knowing it costs $1.7 million make it SEEM like the best car ever?

Hafta' agree they're damn sick lookin', though. They look fast just sitting still. Not many cars give that impression.

Project-Shadow 12-22-2005 05:46 PM

Usually I love original designs.. but thats some ugly fucking car.

je_rome 12-22-2005 06:03 PM

my kind of bling bling for next year.

Rob 12-22-2005 06:08 PM

I think I would feel guilty driving around in something that for the same price could have purchased 34 homes for needy families. :disgust

It really doesn't even look like its worth $1.7M and I can't fathom how ANY VEHICLE could be worth that much. It's nice and all but regardless of how much money I have, I would never purchase a $1.7M car. That's just retarded.

reynold 12-22-2005 06:17 PM

IA nice christmas gift for my swwetheart...

If you were Bill Gates and gave $100 mil to help and could still afford it why not??? I just don't get how people can think that someone who works hard or thinks of something great that helps all people around who work hard and earn a lot of money should give it all up and not spend it. I think Andy Ronney said it best:

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building.

I know that is not what you are saying but I am making a point off of what you said about people spending money they earn on toys in life. That is all.......Merry Christmas! :weihnacht

Well said. :thumbsup

Not that I'll ever know from experience...but I'm sure its possible to own a $1.7 million set of wheels AND be a generous philanthropist. Screw what people may erroneously assume as you drive by.

I'd sooner drive a good reliable pickup truck anyways :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

cool1g 12-22-2005 06:57 PM

most articles are quoting 1 million euros for the price - or around $1.2 million...but regardless its an amazing and expensive car. i read that Jay Leno ordered one...

TexasDreams 12-22-2005 07:10 PM

You can probably get the Veyron serial #12 car pretty cheap next month! :thumbsup

The Veyron´s first crash

The No.12 Veyron is assembled in Molsheim, ready for the required crash-test which will take place in Berlin. No No.13 car will be made (they will pass on directly to No. 14), and the No. 21 will be skipped also.

Ok, ok, you got me. If I gave that much and was still able to afford toys like that then yes, I would get it.

I just cant fathom spending that much money on something that doesn't make you money in exchange.

Spunky 12-22-2005 07:14 PM

Wow..what an awesome car..if I only had money to burn like that

webair 12-22-2005 07:40 PM

has curves almost as nice as yours! =)

Red Ezra 12-22-2005 07:42 PM

nice carr

Minte 12-22-2005 07:49 PM

I'm out of garage space. But the Veyron might justify knocking out a wall and enlarging it. :)

AZNNC 12-22-2005 07:49 PM

if u like the car now, watch topgear. they said if you had a mclaren f1 going 120 mph, and the veryon started @ 0 it would beat the mclaren to 200mph.

Pornwolf 12-22-2005 07:50 PM

That is truly a beautiful car!
