BDSM fans - Tarantino's "Hostel" will stun you!

For those not-in-the-know, fans of hardcore BDSM & fetish-horror will soon be enjoying a post-Christmas gift in the form of Quentin Tarantino's latest twisted thriller - "Hostel". Directed by Eli Roth.

Its being described as "The power bondage and torture film to end all comparison". And judging by the trailers and advance screening reviews, this film will put all mainstream and even underground bondage films and videos to shame.

yeah this trailer caught my eye when I went to King Kong - they played 30 minutes of trailers - It was the midnight show and a three hour movie - it really turned into a joke how much they crammed on the front of that thing

looks great can't wait to see it

The trailers bill the movie as "inspired by true events." Director Eli Roth says that he found a Thai website that advertised itself as a "murder vacation," offering users the chance to torture and kill someone for the price of $10,000. Roth later showed the site to Quentin Tarantino and the two developed the idea for the film. Tarantino and Roth said later on an Icelandic talk show that they have no idea if the website was real or not.

WTF?

Tarantino is close to genious. Kill Bill was just a little something for his wallet. It worked.

30 mins. of trailers!? Jeezus...that's nuts.

I know I've sat through 10-15 mins. sometimes - but never half a bloody hour. I'd be bellowing at the projectionist to get his shit together by 20 mins.

xNetworx 12-22-2005 05:36 PM

I'm going to interview people that go to this film for a Nanny position.

je_rome 12-22-2005 05:39 PM

the whistle background sound gives me the chill up to my spine. I'm going to see this film.

LittleMack 12-22-2005 05:47 PM

Looks like a killer movie, no pun intended

Donny 12-22-2005 05:49 PM

link to the trailer anyone?

edit: duh... you already linked to it....

SilentKnight 12-22-2005 05:57 PM

I've been searchin' around...but can't find out where the movie was shot. It looks like it was shot on-location at an abandoned industrial place, I doubt they built location sets for all of it.

(edit) - Scratch that...it was shot in the Czech Republic.

pornguy 12-22-2005 06:00 PM

I am willing to bet they checked out that stroy before they did the movie.

pr0 12-22-2005 06:08 PM

reynold 12-22-2005 06:13 PM

Apparently the website the movie was loosely based on was taken down a while back.

chazer 12-22-2005 06:26 PM

just for the record, the only thing quentin has to do with this movie is slapping his name on it.

the first half of the movie is pretty much like Euro trip, the second half is the torture.

the original ending was completely fucked up, but i guess Eli Roth decided to tone it down because even the most hardcore fans where having trouble accepting it.

[BIG SPOILER]

the original ending -
the one guy who survives goes looking for the man who tortured and killed his buddy. he eventually finds him, but the man is with his 8 year old daughter and the character takes her

the new ending -
he meets up with the man alone and takes out his revenge
