Does anyone still use PGP (Pretty Good Protection)?
I remember meeting one of the developers at a trade show back in '94 but I don't really hear much about it anymore.
Does anyone here still use it or a version of it? |

for a second there, I thought this Thread was talking about condoms.
If you want "Pretty Good Protection", just double bag the shit! |
if you use anything based out of the usa expect the fed's to have a back door into it.
if your paranoid about your data you dont use anything us based. |
PGP is all fine and dandy for 99% of your encryption issues if all you're worried about is your competition reading your e-mail traffic. However keep in the back of your mind that Uncle Sam could read your PGP encrypted mail if he wanted to waste the resources of over 100+ acres of specialized NSA computing power on your reading your message.
In reality, its easier to get one of the joint task force NSA/CIA black bag teams to install a keylogger on your machine and forward your passphrase onward, this assuming you're in the CONUS. But to answer your question, yes, I still use PGP. |
i use a condom most of the times

never heard of is...
