So I did not book a hotel for Vegas
 

And now every thing is like 500$ a night. I am thinking of staying in Henderson, NV and then driving every day. The down side is I cant drink at parties...even if I do, the Cab bill will not be more then 100 bucks (28 miles).

any one else have any other ideas.

How about we stay on the subject. I need a hotel and I am willing to drive 20 - 30 miles, so what are my options, which cities can I chose

Actually, After I booked my room in Vegas I found out I couldnt even check in on it alone. I still want to go, there are a few hotels outside vegas about 30 minutes from there that are still available.

Any one knows any city names out side vegas, expedia does not bring much

http://www.carriagehouselasvegas.com/ No casino but its right next to the Aladdin just 2 blocks from the strip. Decent rates too. Its not a shithole but its nothing fancy. I've been to Vegas 23 times and I'll tell ya its not a bad place to stay from the time I visited my friend staying there.

Thanks dude...found one for 100$, That is 7 miles from the Strip. I just need a place to crash as I am drunk every night

those are on the west side and not too far from strip but both nice.

or you can get a place at www.budgetsuites.com it is close to the strip ( several locations) but they are weekly deals and several strippers or hookers etc stay in them when they come to town so they are not as nice, they are OK though and will do the purpose and they are cheap and close.

i just booked my room thru hotels.com - got the monte carlo for an average of $350 a night. not awesome, but i can stomach it. :)

Yeah it's pretty weird actually, would have never asumed that. I knew of the drinking though. I thank Viki and her boyfriend for sharing there room with me :thumbsup

check El Cortez, downtown. the place is so weird, usually no one wants to stay there. and last year it was just $29 a night :1orglaugh
