What are you doing at a stop-light for a few minutes?

Sounds like the Techtronic shifter needs ot be adjusted :2 cents:

buddyjuf 12-21-2005 01:50 PM

i think it was more of a matter of reminding everyone he drives a gallardo....not actually figuring out the problem. :2 cents:

What kind of transmission? i know my F1 Ferrari does that on purpose. I think it's after two minutes.

I spend a lot of time of the Lambo boards and have never heard of that problem with the e-gear. I have a 6sp and so far there have been no problems at all.hit me on icq if you need the URL to some of the more technical Lamborghini boards.

How much do you want for that Bridge? I think i may know someone who's interested. He's also looking for oceanfront property in Phoenix AZ. If you can help with that it would be awesome.

Aren't you the guy that was asking how to make .25 per post a couple months ago?

Yngwie 12-21-2005 04:16 PM

I had a similar problem with my 68 nova. It would downshift by itself under rapid accelleration. Turns out, the vibration of the headers would hit the linkage, causing it to downshift.

My 79 Fiat Spyder had a problem of popping out of gear during upshifts.

After a while you had to start out in second.

A few months later 3rd gear starts were the only way to get the thing going.

After that it found a new home.
