Script to get Overture keywords
Anyone have a stand alone script to pull the data from the overture keywords tool?
Got one? Know of one? |
They are out there, definitely not free though...
You should contact WOJ, I have seen some of his private scripts recently and they perform very well. He *may* already have something like this in fact, if not I know it's out there somewhere... Ryan |
Their tool has been having a lot of failures recently, I'm having a hard time just using it directly, let alone thru my script.

I saw a few for $50... I know someone has done it for free... I can create one myself but I am trying to save time and continue with the rest of the coding on the rest of my project.

But I have seen some websites that use a script and have a 100% success rate (even though it might be 5 to 10 seconds waiting time). |

BEst work around for that guys is simple really..
Log In, act like you are going to add a keyword to your add campaign... Enter the phrase, it spits back all the related results. Never fails when you are trying to add a bid :) A Good programmer would know how to interact with the backend and cloak the program to un in a mode as if it was logged in using your overture account. |

Even if their OCR wasn't weak ... you manually enter the login info on script bootup - At that point, you can gather/harness etc ... :)

I don't use the overture tool directly. I go through another website and it never gives me errors

the one I have does the same thing, just allows you to pull from the overture US market, or other country markets....outputs the keywors themselves or gives the option to spit out the keyword count with it... fun stuff... :thumbsup |

What about an Overture extractor tool that automatically goes to the keyword in the next row and pulls the list of keywords from that keyword (basically having a "recursive" effect). So at the end of the execution of the script, you'd have like 8000 keywords at the command of just a single mouse click.
Anyone have something like this? |
WG: It seems to error with certain terms only.
Atleast that's what i noticed. |
I coded this in 5 mins:
http://www.darksoulcash.com/cgi-bin/...i?keyword=babe I will code it to store the results in a db but I'm wondering if they have some kind of limits as to how much I can fetch. I'd hate to start using proxies. |
|
Hmmmm I'd definitely be interested in the right databases. It has to be cross-indexed with another important piece of info though.
|
right scripts have one. http://www.rightscripts.com/ but it costs $50.I have one php and perl script .but they are slow comparing to this.

don't bother with scripts, unless they support Proxy servers.
my software supports up to 10,000 proxies and scans all known Overture servers for term or term.TLD. It also checks all proxy servers to see which is live/dead/transparent. scripts are ok if you are checking 1-10 domains. Ovt now put in place temp bans for multiple queries so unless you've got 10+ decent proxies, you can't check jack. peace |
