Does everyone in winter climates want to move south?

I've never lived in a real winter climate and I still moved south... Being here now in 0-5C weather is horrible, I miss the beach.

Winter is sucking this year. I usually don't mind it but for some reason this year I'd rather be somewhere warm. :(

I love summer, but the winter is ok too! Its cool when its all white!

I'd rather sweat my ass off than be a little bit cold. I don't know how people handle the cold, snow and ice year after year.

Moved from Iceland to Spain, now the Spanish winter is too cold :(
If I move somewhere more tropical I'll start complaining about the rainy season :1orglaugh

My next major "toy" is a condo in Fla :thumbsup

We love the winter and are gonna do the opposite - move to somewhere colder with more snow as it rarely hits too far below freezing here. That said we want good summers too so when we move it'll probably be the alps or pyranees for the best of both worlds.

I moved north out of the warm climate. Too many damn hurricanes.

I can see why people become "snow birds" and get a winter home down south, absolutely..

i live amongst snow birds. The Florida economy thrives from these residents.

Yep when its -40c I always think about moving south where it is warmer
