Tried 2 campaigns, no sales.

SenSEO 12-20-2005 03:44 AM

I had some good experiences with their campaigns, here some of my results:

Rodox Retro Style: 4509 4431 21 211
Rodox: 2793 2707 9 301
Excuseme Portal: 2113 2049 19 108
Jim Slip (Tour1): 1795 1758 6 293
SeventeenVideo: 5006 4897 17 288

Resp.: site, clicks, uniques, sign-ups, ratios (on uniques)

Of course the more specific keywords you choose the better!! :thumbsup

SleazyDream 12-20-2005 03:46 AM

reed_4 12-20-2005 04:01 AM

How long did it take you to get that traffic?

Dirty F 12-20-2005 04:05 AM

Some of you might remember my bitching about them because i bought 100k hits or whatever and i got like 200 hits a day. Even after adding 50 or 60 galleries in the system i couldnt even get a few 100 hits a day more. I got my money refunded.

Now the odd thing is i submitted 4 or 5 galleries to them over the last few weeks and those are getting WAY more traffic than my paid spots ever got me. Askjolene is one of my top refs actually.

One day of free traffic is way more than my paid spots gave me in a week or so. Odd system if you ask me.

adonthenet 12-20-2005 04:12 AM

Franck >> Hits on your galls or on the paysites???

I bought 100K, my average CTR from the galls to the paysites was about 6% and it took me 2 months with 60 galls.

The choice of your keywords is essential. I prefer better ratios (with describing keywords) over quick spending in PPC campaigns.

For example: For my Excuse Me galls I used the keywords: "excuse", "harry", "german", "excuseme", "seventeen". These keywords don't contain large amounts of traffic, but convert well.

ilbb 12-20-2005 05:06 AM

Yes the most important thing is select good keywords...

only fool can expect big sales on "sex", "free sex","free movies" keywords :)

Is it worth the hassle for you? I mean 2 months?

Yes why not? It's only a few minutes work to copy some high converting keywords from other PPC campaigns...

Turf 12-20-2005 05:48 AM

how long time do they normally take before reviewing galleries ??

AmeliaG 12-20-2005 05:49 AM

I appreciate their support of SpookyCash. :)

Ok cool...yeah if you can set it up in just a few mins it can be worth your time. I had to spend too much to get 50 hits to my galleries. I was suggested more galleries so i important 50 or 60 or more and still no hits.

So like i said its so add to see the big amount of hits i get to my 4 or 5 galleries that are listed for free. WAY more than the 60 i paid for.

But ive heard good stories about them recently. Maybe i just had bad timing. I now see they indeed have the traffic. I might try them again in the near future.

Are you certain that they are linking to galleries that you actually submitted? My experience is that they spider other tgps and grab galleries off there and that the "free" submit form does not result in any listings, rather is used only to harvest backlinks.
I can say this because I see my urls in their database of galleries I've submitted to them BUT they are NOT the urls with their recip, rather it's urls with recips to other tgps.

Off topic but...

I've wondered how that works.

I have a mini blog there, and what I will do is submit galleries via the free form, then go search for my domain name, add the galleries to my bookmarks, then publish them in the blog.

But the galleries I pull up on search never have the Ask Jolene recip on them.

I do get emails from them though, saying

Dear webmaster,

Recently you submitted one or more galleries to the AskJolene search engine.
You can edit the information you submitted by using the links below.

I thought that the were listing things via the free form, but now I doubt it.

Sorry to cut into the thread. :)

riddler 12-20-2005 07:08 AM

I had decent luck with askjolene a few times, You gotta scout out whats not over saturated on the site at the time and use it to your advantage.

There is a lot of the same shit listed on askjolene over and over..

V_RocKs 12-20-2005 07:25 AM

I usually do 50-100% ROI when I run shit through askJolene.com

ie. spend $1000, end result is $1500 - $2000 with $500 - $1000 being the profit.

I think they do both, because I find both galls that I've submitted to Ask Jolene (with the recip) and other TGP's. Just make unique links and they are quite easy to find back... :thumbsup

(check ../555aj.html at: http://search.askjolene.com/search?q...rt=date&media= ) :winkwink:

Screaming 12-20-2005 08:19 AM

found the traffic to be more productive then sex.com traffic :2 cents:

NickB. 12-20-2005 08:57 AM

I cant get enough of it, their traffic simply rocks big time!

Usually about two weeks but I use a ton of galleries. So my galleries will be getting shown in just about any search someone would do.

Right. Check your sig. And then check the links on those indexed galleries. All payserve. You probably listed them yourself or had one of your co-workers do it.

Fact is, and I'm not talking about 4-5 galleries not getting listed, I'm talking about many thousands. Many! Not one of them has been listed with the AskJolene recip. But many times the same gallery has been listed with recips to other tgps.

So it's pretty obvious what they're doing - deny it as vehemently as you want, i couldn't care less. I just feel pity for those wasting their time submitting there. I ditched the free submit ages ago - any fool with a little experience can see what's going on. It's the same as a load of other tgps: backlink harvesting.

That said, I have nothing against AskJolene. Their paid submissions might be worth it but their free submissions are definitely a big waste of time :)

pornguy 12-20-2005 02:42 PM

I have not tried them yet, But I can say that the traffic on Sex.com sucks.

sfera 12-20-2005 02:44 PM

nice site :thumbsup

polle54 12-20-2005 02:45 PM

why don't you ask jolene?

You sure that's not 150-200% ROI.

Lemme share an Ask Jolene expierence that happened to me about 8 months ago...

I was a small time buy of their traffic - usually buying the $70/week plan. I stopped buying from them for a few weeks cause I hadn't seen my usuall return of about 150%. Well, a certain sponsor started a new teen site. So, I loaded all their FHG's into my askjolene account without even buying traffic. So, i wake up next morning to learn that I had made $150 last night without ever even buying traffic to feed those galleries. They sent me something like 80 hits for free which resulted in 5 signups.

Thank you ask jolene <3 :thumbsup

grumpy 12-20-2005 02:49 PM

Good traffic. No problems.

$1000 invested, $1500 - $2000 in sales...
Return on investment, $500 to $1000. 50% - 100%

ilsoph 12-20-2005 03:16 PM

thx for the feedback guys... appreciate it

After you have submitted your galls to Ask Jolene, it takes about a day (or 2?) before they will be in their listings. If their spider crawls the same galls with other recips elsewhere before that period, the crawled galls will be listed. That way they avoid that the same galls are listed.

So I don't share the conclusion on backlink harvesting.

Any fool with a little Search Engine experience should know that links/galls aren't listed over and over again. :winkwink:
