FUCK! I am having a root canal in 2 weeks!

I have had two and had no trouble, take the meds afterwards and you should be good. I think people freak because all of the horror stories from the past but the ones that I got were just like getting a tooth filled, alot of pressure when they are filing inside the tooth but you are numb.

That's one of a hell treatment! I hate it!

I just had one and the second one is next Thursday and it didn't hurt at all.
The doc put the needle in about 8 places all around the tooth and numbed the hell out of it.

To be honest I had a crown put on the same tooth last year and it hurt like a bitch
for 3 days but the root canal they take out the roots and nerves so it hurts less.

I think I need one , I am too afraid to go to the dentist and find out , in the meanwhile I am right now as we speak sitting here in great great pain

Don't worry mate, ask them to dope you up real good. That way you won't feel a thing :)

I had it done a couple of weeks ago and it was no trouble at all. I also had a smaller cavity filled which turned out to be a real bitch. Weird the way it goes sometimes.

I have had a few and it wasn't anything big. No worries :)

I had a root canal about a year ago and it was totally painless. It's one of those things that when it's over you say, "That's it?".

No big deal at all. You'll be fine. :thumbsup
