Does the authorize feature in ICQ just mean one cannot see an added ICQ numbers status in ones contact list until one has been authorized by the other user or does it also mean one cannot send an ICQ to the user until authorized?

well u can send messages even if ur not authorised. WIll he get ur message? It depends on his security settings. That's it

Ok, so if the recipients security settings do not permit it, will:

1) The recipient even know it was sent?
2) The sender ever know if it was not received?
