Actually I heard its more prevelant statistically cause of all the snow shoveling that happens this time of year.

Then there's that, absolutely.

Lots of people don't pace themselves. They're in their 40's and 50's, they are overweight in many cases, not in the shape they once were, and they try to do it all in one shot. Better to do a little shovelling, then go inside and rest, then finish it up later, in small shifts.
