Your top three movies of this year?
 

Enjoyment wise (meaning they don't have to be the best acting, etc aslong as you enjoyed them) which films get your vote for the three films this year that you enjoyed the most.

I have a feeling there are still a lot of films i haven't seen yet that I will enjoy. I like dialouge heavy movies and I don't seem to have seen many this year so maybe they just haven't hit the UK yet.

For me, this was a year where I saw more 'blockbuster' type films then I normally do and a good number of them were suprisingly good. I am liking the trend towards action films that actually have character development.

Anyhoo...the first three that came to mind for me are:

King Kong

I wanted to see Downfall but it was gone from the cinema before I had a chance. It is on tv in the UK this week, I think, so I am going to try again.

the third Harry Potter movie was also very good though, and Sin City is up there, too.

I can't believe anyone would even mention The Island in their top 3! What a horrible movie!!!

40 year old virgin, just friends and wedding crashers topped off the comedy dept.

Finding Neverland was the best movie I've seen in a long long time and I saw it last night

I just got a copy of the contstant gardner so I should be watching it tonight. This is the time of the year when I have to try to hunt down Oscar tipped films that haven't been released in the UK yet.

I thought european gigollo was a hoot too!

so far its Batman Begins, KingKong, and Sin City. but more good movies are yet to be released since its awards season again like Brokeback Mountain and Memoirs of a Geisha

Sin City is absolutly number one for me.

Batman begins was nice and I'm still waiting to see Oliver Twist.

I personally have KK, BB and Cinderella Man, with Sin City fourth.

I wanted to catch it at the cinemas but missed it.. getting it out on DVD in the next week or two.

Same here im watch the DVD of Island now.. But King Kong was amazing
