If you're judging that based solely off the sound of his songs or his appearance, (which with a statement such as that one I imagine you are) then you're pretty close minded.

He's not "fucked in the head" he's actually rather brilliant which fast becomes apparent if you've ever read any of his interviews, or watched any of his intervies (Such as the one on Bowling for Columbine) and if you know anything about his biography, then you'd also know that he didn't start out wanting to have the type of image he has, however he's far from stupid and knew what would make him $ and so he took it & ran with it & has done very well for himself.
