Take out and drive through fast food restaurants always short my orders!

Man,

The last three times I've ordered out from three different places, they have shorted me something:

I ordered a cheeseburger with jalapenos.........no cheese.

I ordered a fried chicken dinner.........leave out the cole slaw.

I ordered a burrito with chicken fajitas..... I get a bean burrito.

I get home, turn on the tv, get something to drink, and kick back for an evening meal after working for 10+ hours....and the food is screwed up. I check the receipt and I paid for what I ordered.

Do they just hate me? Don't read English so well? Or, just too stoned?

Maybe the restaurants should pay a bit more and get people who care about their job enough to get the orders right. The late night crews are the worst.

Personally, I'm starting to think that they know you are driving off and won't be back so they take advantage of the situation..... :(

Always check your food before you leave the place. Make sure you get what you ordered.

After Shock Media 12-18-2005 12:18 PM

Drive thrus know you will most likely not check your order and by the time you do you are miles away and will not drive back to confront them. I.E. you are a low priority. Want your order right, take the extra 2 minutes and go inside to place your order.

#1 reason why I always walk inside, and check what they put in the bags. Actually I rarely go to fastfood anymore, you get what you pay for.

When I used to eat fast food that would happen to me all the freaking time.
So the one time I paid with a ten, and in my change was a twenty, I praised karma.

Write your order on a piece of paper, roll it over, insert it in the end barrel of your .45 and hand it to the crew..
You'll get more than what you've ordered..

My Rant

I avoid the places the consistant do that shit.

I also hate cheap places. There's a subway near the FriendFinder offices that always places one measily small olive slice on each tomato in the sub. So I end up getting what usually amounts to 3 slices which is less than one whole black olive. When I ask for more olives they give it to me and then charge me for it without informing me that they will charge me. It's only 50 cents so it's no big deal but it's about principle! I say no to a few of the other veggies that they offer me and they don't return 50 cents to me. So why charge me more just because I want to taste an olive in my sandwich and ask for more? It happened to me a few times and the last time was when it was the owner of that particular Subway. That's when I realized it was his policy the other employees were following and stopped spending there.

That's a common thing for take out food...so you better check it out before you leave...

[after receiving the wrong order at the drive-thru]
Leo Getz: They FUCK YOU at the drive-thru, okay? They FUCK YOU at the drive-thru! They know you're gonna be miles away before you find out you got fucked! They know you're not gonna turn around and go back, they don't care. So who gets fucked? Ol' Leo Getz! Okay, sure! I don't give a fuck! I'm not eating this tuna, okay?

That scene in Lethal Weapon 2 always comes to mind when I order at a drive-thru...
