I have been promoting this site on these tgps so you cant!!

So I have been in the "business" for over 8 years and i have never come across the following before, I wondered if any of you guys or girls had and what your thoughts on the matter were?

I have been gallery posting for a long time, (I will not mention sites so as to keep this impartial) about 6 months ago i started advertising a new sponsor firstly using their zipped galleries, this turned out to be very fruitfull and the webmaster of the site offered me a "webmaster" account for the site so i may grab some "exclusive" content to continue promoting his site.

This i did, and again proved to be very productive but then i noticed on the same TGP's that i posted the same images promoting the same site infact they were the same 15 images taken from a collection of 80!.
So i emailed the webmaster of the site and also spoke to him on the phone and he explained that the other galleries were from another webmaster who he had also given access to his site to grab content he did say that the webmaster had been promoting his site for about 12 months.

With this I forgot about it as I thought "This was bound to happen", then 3 weeks later I got an email from a different person at the site i was promoting saying that there had been a complaint made against me for copying galleries.

After countless emails it turned out that the webmaster that i had complained about 3 weeks earlier had complained about me, the gallery example he said i had copied was infact a free zipped gallery given to all webmasters to use!!

As you can guess i was not very happy and after a few emails i found out that basically through me advertising this site through the tgps i used it had cut down the other webmasters earnings from the site, he said he had been advertising the site for about 12 months using the tgps i was now using. He then told me that I could have as much content from his own site to promote as long as i did not promote the other site on the specified tgps (which he does not own by the way).

So if you are still reading this (well done) here is my question!
Does this guy have any rights to say who and where the site can be promoted? When he doesnt owh the tgps or the ste that we are promoting.

Your comments would be appreciated.

So i take it that you think he is out of order?

Obviously the sponsor has the final word regarding use of the content.

There's nothing much you can do about leeching if its part of a zip from the public program, except stop promoting it if someone leech you continuesly and the program owner does not care. One solution can be to watermark the licensed pics (if you get permission to do so).

"Who leeched who" is not hard to settle. If none of you have access to manipulate the external server time, you can both dex the directory and see the dates :)

The sponsor is happy that his two highest traffic generating webmasters are providing him with so much traffic, its just the other guy who thinks he has a sole right to post to open tgps because he has been doing it longer at those tgps.

Until the sponsor tells you not to post in certain sites tell the guy to :321GFY

To be honest that was my thought exactly, i just wanted to see what the general concensus was.

Sorry about the problems but i noticed you are an affiliate of my website http://www.bignbustyclub.com

I can send you some ready made galleries for my site complete with your ccbill code in. Interested?? The deal is you don't post them to the TGP sites where i'm posting my own.
