Anyone giving domain names as a christmas gift?
 

I am - and I need to figure a clever way to gift wrap these - I know it's not exactly a physical thing to wrap - I was planning too get a ring box and put a small card inside with the url on it - sound like a plan? has anyone else ever given a domain name as a gift for the holidays? How did you do it? e-mail card?

I am giving my dad a website for christmas...he is retiring soon, and wanted a project when he becomes bored, so I am making him up a sailing website where he can post information on sailing and travelling and shit...maybe make some extra cash

Unless you are giving it to someone in the biz, that knows domains, i would not give it naked... you should host it and setup email.. then give the name and login so they can actually make use of it right away

It is her name dot com .... with a wordpress install and space on one of my server ....

Giving it to her on Xmas day at breunch in a restaurant where they have wi-fi... she will see it on my laptop ... but I keep the laptop!
