Christmas was originally slated to be celebrated in March or April, however a major roman pagan holiday called Saturnalia took place on December 25th, which was a festival of eating & getting fucked up on wine....so the christians eventually went along & started celebrating the birth of christ dec 25th since they couldn't get anyone to party in March :1orglaugh
