I live about 20 minutes away from AC. You must be smelling the sweet ocean breeze.

Mike Okitch 12-17-2005 03:02 PM

That's not fish, it's who's sleeping with them.

I am a born and raised Jersey boy.

Newark is not really NJ. It's really more like a part of NYC.

Where I grew up it was beautiful. It was a small town with a population of about 400 people. We had a corner store, no fast food, no stop lights, and one police car. The student body of the high school I went to was pulled from seven different townships.

It's the type of place where you can't see the hosues from the street because their front yard is forrest.

I lived up in the hills and every winter we got snowed in. When I say "snowed it" I mean we couldn't leave our house for a few days because the wind would blow the snow up over our house higher than the front door was.

New Jersey is beautiful.

I live about 10 minutes from AC and it doesn't smell all the time. Only sometimes. lol It comes from the bay during tides.

I grew up there too - Newark is pretty gross - and you can't judge the state by the NJ Turnpike either - that's the part most people see and that's the worst part. Some parts aren't so nice, but some parts are a lot nicer than you'd think.

Of course I live in Vegas now, and really dont want to go BACK to NJ for any reason, so I guess it was OK but it wasn't Utopia either.
