wtf is wrong with the pingomatic.com?! i was talking about using it to ping the boards, and today it seems this site is not working...

downtime or it's death???

i have no idea what actually happened, but after two days of downtime it is working today... :thumbsup

They have downtimes once in a while ... happens with any high traffic website.

One thing I'm really wondering is : How the fuck do they make $ ?

maybe they're getting mass pinged or DDOS'd ??

It has worked maybe once in the past week for me. And I do about 20 blog posts / week.
I tried to use the manual form on their site to ping... but kept being told "invalid URI" no matter what I gave it. Also. when I tried to use their
email form to contact them, it kept rejecting any email address that had my porn domain name.

So... I started to hunt around to make up my own list to put into
Wordpress... blo.gs ********** icerocket etc.
And then I came across pings.ws which appears to be a one-stop shop
covering most of the big ones. :2 cents:

If anyone has a working list I could dump into Wordpress, I would be appreciative. :helpme
