Today is his last day on the air, and now he'll be on Sirius. Thank god I have XM Radio.

For someone that thinks he sucks, you sure know a lot about where he is and where he's going. PS:Check XM vs Sirius stocks bro.

He has gotten more pub for Sirius in the last month than they could have ever bought...I listened all week!!

Violetta 12-17-2005 02:26 AM

The howard stern movie is funny! :thumbsup

Red Ezra 12-17-2005 02:29 AM

stern is still the best thing that ever happened to radio - lets see if he can do it on satellite - he wont have the FCC as his nemesis now - he will need a new arch enemy.

fris 12-17-2005 02:30 AM

i know nothing about sat radio, can you get sirus stations with xm? or is that not permitted.

Nope, they're all entirely different and you can only get XM channels on an XM tuner or Sirius channels on a Sirius tuner. I had XM for over a year and Sirius for the last month and a half. For me, being a hard rock/metal guy, I like Sirius a lot more.

Slick 12-17-2005 10:18 PM

I think that now that Howard is free to do WHATEVER he wants on his show, I think that it's gonna get a LOT more interesting. I'm sure in the last couple of years, he's had everyone at his throats to keep everything in line, but now he can do whatever the hell he wants which should be good for all of us :)

For those that complain about paying $15 per month for the service, I think that it's DEFINATELY worth it, not just for Howard, but for having the kick ass channels. If you don't live in a huge city where there's tons of stations, it's essential. Where I'm at, for music, there's 4 country channels, 1 classic rock, 2 "today's hits", 1 rock channel, but it mixes in too much light shit, and then there's public radio, that's pretty much my variety. Satellite radio gives me a couple of kick ass channels that I can scroll between and pretty much always have a good tune to listen to. PLUS NO COMMERCIALS !!!! You definately can't beat it.

He was solid ten years ago. Boring and dated now. Farts, midgets, and strippers only go sar far...Maybe it's age. At 24 he was funny to me. At 34 he's tired.

Jayvis 12-17-2005 10:30 PM

If people think the show is only about strippers and midgets, they aren't truly listening.

I watched the E! shows, that seems to be the best of each day's worth of the show, edited down. It mainly focused on beauty pagents, wack pack nonsense, I want to be in Playboy evaluations, Stripper game shows, etc.

What am I missing?

Answer: Aside from 22 minutes of commercials per hour, nothing. :thumbsup
