What makes a sponsor able to have a rewards program or not?

Just curious, i see so many huge sponsors with no rewards, yet i see some smaller newer sponsors with great rewards programs?

      My opinion JScott,

I think it comes down to two things:

      1. greed (bigger programs think that their people will stay because they are big)
      2. customer service (quality, retention if you will, make them feel special)

      luv ya babe....xo

It's a cut of the profits and an employee staying up with it, even more so on a big program. It can take a lot of time.

I have seen newer programs doing rewards though. Most are recurring sponsors and most make the webmaster eat the processing fee or part of it. I want the extra 5-15% rather than a few new gadgets to collect dust.

I guess it just proves that eye candy will attract webmasters.

well, say we're only talking about nats sponsors, well if they all supposedly cant shave anyways then whats the difference about wanting $$ rather than gifts, if no shave then gifts would really be totally free (would be a total bonus)
