happened yesterday, dea and local cops busted 13 weed shops. kinda sucks

funny i lived there for 5 years and never once bought weed at a store. the only people they are hurting are aids patients with prescriptions. asshats.

everyone knows the best weed in san diego is sold at the beach by the surfers.

Heres a real simple one for those who don't like to smoke.

12 crackers (i use saltines) - makes 6 sandwhichs
1-2 grams finely chopped herb

Place peanut butter about a half inch thick on the bottom of the cracker sandwhich, sprinkle herb evenly over all 6 bottoms (on top of the pbutter).

Use your finger to push the herb into the peanut butter (but don't cover it completely in peanut butter)

Put the top cracker on all the halves, take a small amount of actual "butter" & smear it on the top of each sandwhich (not enough to run over the sides when heated)

Place in oven for 22 minutes at 320F

Take them out of the oven & eat them while their still hot, drink them down with milk in order to cool them off instantly.

These will last 4-8 hours, perfect for plane trips, car rides, skiing etc. :thumbsup

1 tablespoon will fuck you up for over 8 hours

Good. Any of those places or people who are not doing it by the law deserve what they get. I am so tired of people yelling legalize marijuana and then once they get a permit or whatever, they go ahead and sell it illegally anyways. Fucking criminals need to be put behind bars.

Marijuana would be legalized if people would quit breaking the law in regards to it when given a chance. Blame the crooks pulling dirty shit like this when actual ill persons get their medicinal marijuana taken away.

Maybe you've been hiding under a fucking rock for the last year, but almost all the counties stopped handing out identification cards. So the sick people couldn't get it legally.

your logic if flawed. street dealers aren't going in to buy it for resale, its not cost effective, also, having places like this cut down on street dealers.

Another easy recipe.

8 grams of chronic .. and I mean good week .. not any shwag. Chop it up in one of those personal coffee grinders. Buy a box of brownie mix. Follow the instructions on the box and then add the 8 grams of weed. Mix together and bake. One brownie fucks you up for a good 4-6 hours. 2 brownies and you feel like you're trippin out.

I never had good luck with making butter. So I just chop it up reall good and then add it to whatever I'm making.

I have a killer Italian dressing recipe too.

that's not the issue...the issue is that the ID cards (if they were issued - and a lot of people didn't want them in the first place because they didn't want to be on a "list" that the feds could get their hands on) are local, and the feds don't honor ID cards, prescriptions or anything else. so it doesn't matter what was issued, the feds would still consider it illegal.
for the reputable dispensaries, you still need to show your prescription and certification, and they make you wait outside for 15-20 minutes the first time you're there, while they check your documents and confirm them with the prescribing physician, etc. that's all "legal" as far as the state is concerned - it's the feds that don't care.

yeah well almost everyone I've heard who got a card to grow was also dealing it illegally. Why bother trying to do things legal if you are just going to break the law anyways? It makes no sense to me.

I think it should be absolutely legalized, but again all I've heard is people bragging about getting a permit/card to grow and then selling it. What happened to "care giving?" Its the fuckers that want a license to grow and deal it and make profit that are screwing it all up and giving pot smokers a bad name.

It should be legal, and it should be free. If you got a permit and then turned around and made profit off someone selling them your medicinal marijuana you should be hung by the balls. That is what I am referring to.

And I don't know the story, but any of those places being ran by dumb stoners dealing it illegally are fucking things up for others. And please, there are head shops here in LA you can go in and talk to someone and get weed. I'm not ignorant of things like that, gimme a break. And yes people need it, and yes sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

But again, its always a couple people who fuck things up for everyone else. I figure they will hit LA next.

well yeah, its different up here in LA I guess. There are very few hippies in Hollywood that's for sure.

honestly, I don't like giving money to losers, as in not just people who sell weed here and there for whatever reasons, but people who live off of selling weed and do not want to get real jobs. Even on unemployment or disability, your traditional drug dealers I suppose.

I have had people rip on the legal stuff, and I know its just because they want to keep dealing and reaping the profit, or don't want to actually pay for their own weed. And I don't even think its a huge deal to sell some, fine, but I am talking about guys who have been slinging for years and don't want the legal stuff forcing them to get jobs and actually work. Yeah yeah they are doing a service and taking a risk, I've heard it all and thats fine. But its definitely not helping the legalize it battle, and it pisses me off.

I was very close to getting the legal card thing myself, but now am very glad I did not because I had a feeling something bad would go down and did not want my name out there in some database. I even had conversations with a couple guys at dispensaries who said that was a big problem, legit people afraid to come forward because of consequences like that. So if it comes down to the feds busting places because sure enough some asshole was trying to just make a tax free living dealing weed again and got caught, its fucking wrong and it makes all pot smokers look bad.

bizarre that SD board of supers won't allow for ID cards to be issued. The ID system seems to work fine here in San Francisco and is a decent source of revenue for the city
