Good Luck, the way it keeps growing there should be about 8,000 - 10,000 entries into the main event. Should make for some huge payouts!

I won a 135.00 buy-in tourney for the seat. Only 1st place got one.


Yea, thats the only thing that sucks...the field this year is going to be HUGE to you have to have some luck to go with your skill just to finish in the money. I expect first prize to be around 10mil this year.

I figured some big ballin' GFY'ers would put up their 10k for a seat....no GFY'ers goin?

do you think that they would allow you to wear an adult website hat or tshirt if you make it to the TV rounds?

Nope, the WSOP is so big now that the regulations of control are pretty strict since EVERYTHING is televised.

Of course if I make it to the final rounds, I'm sure some poker site will pay me big money to wear some of thier gear. But I don't want to be a sell-out so I don't know if I'll take 'em up on it heh.

edit: to be honest, I'm not sure. I don't really see how a non explicit logo would be any dif than a regular poker site hat?

just FYI, last year at the WSOP
you had to declare who your one sponser was before the main event began.

Just a heads up, get something worked out before you get there.

THey don't allow that anymore, unless the site you're promoting paid your entry into the tournament, that was 2 years ago that they'd have paid you 100k.

New rules suck.

But the cool thing is you're going.. so fuck it all.

Guess the 135 buy-in is a bit much for some when only 1st place gets a seat.

Nice, I had a chance at a seat but blew it... oh well shit happens... thing is too that I play in this tourny all the time. The top 2 from each tourny (5) will get a seat at a 10 man table. The winner from that woulda got to go. So I show up and there was only 4 of us, sweet right 6 less to play. As were in our like 5-6th hand ( which was moving quickly as everyone was aggresive ) the rest of em show up and they let them play... needless to say we were kinda pissed and I ended up going out 3rd... oh well , and I ended up taking first in 2 of those five tourny's so the second one they let 2-3 place go to the table and one of those fuckers won lol
