Anyone very familiar with the tookie williams actual case?
 

I dont believe in the death penalty personally so I think you know where I stand on if he should be put to death.


But he claims to be innocent.

I only want to hear from people who have really spent some time looking at this case...

Is there ANY basis for this potential? I've heard no physical evidence and its based off of 2 people's testimony's.

even if he didn't kill those 4 people just think about how much shit he caused by leading or even being involved with the crips. i could care less if he dies or not, as long as he is off the streets...but why waste space and food for his bitch ass? he got to chill for 20+ years after being sentenced to death i think that was good enough...

If somebody was to kill me tomorrow and I could live a bit longer if I appelaed it, I most likely would

we kill a person to show the people that killing is wrong ( I am for the death penalty btw, when its enforced as a proper and actual punishment)

the death penalty in California is a joke. In this case, even when put to death tonight all it did was prolong his life on the tax payers dollar. Had Tookie been mixed in with the GP, just by being the co-founder of the crips he would have been killed by another imate long ago.

he claimed he was brain-damaged during the long appeal process and denied writing the children's books. once the appeals were over he proclaimed his innocence and took credit for writing the children's books which got him nominated for the Nobel peace prize. guards at San Quentin say he's been very violent often throwing chemicals at them and attempting escapes. they also reported he still plays a major roll in the crips using his sons, who are in jail now, to carry out his orders. people who are making a stink are either against the death penalty all together or members of the "black man cant get a break" union. from what Ive hear, he's the first black man to be executed in California since they brought it back and 8 of the 12 executed thus far have been white. the race shit is just a ploy to get the mindless under their control.

the death penalty is only a joke because it takes like 20 years to execute someone. if you were convicted of murder and sentenced to death the very next day, i bet the murder rate would drop...

It wasnt an all white jury, there was plenty of evidence, he admitted to shooting , and robbing people, and in a later court trial ( for a prison shanking ) he threatned to kill the jury members in front of the judge

From what i'm hearing, the only witnesses were his co-conspirators.

Backed up by people saying he "bragged"

No physical , no dna



I wouldnt call this open and closed....

the main point is: he had 25 years to prove his innocence, i think that is enough time...

they keep it now . but back then it didnt always happen

But they are saying that there just wasnt any physical evidence against him , including dna...

not a matter of not collecting it.

Like i said though...i'm sure he killed hundreds of people

I could give a shit about Tookie Williams to be honest. Personally I just dont like death penalty...and also I want to see proper justice based on facts...not people's interpretation of what the facts WOULD be if they were all found

Justice for those who were victims of his crimes.

GAll I know is that there were four helpless victims killed that day and he's the convicted suspect. Never had enough chance to follow the case but I am pretty much sure he's guilty and that he deserve such punishment..
