How to stop Windows from Locking Up every X minutes?

My windows box seems to lock up if I do not use it for 10 minutes or so

Go to control panel>power options and set your sleep modes, monitor shutdown time, etc etc.

It locks up as in freezes, or locks up as in it goes into hibernation (standby mode)?

dont waste money on watches and buy a good computer. also, stop donwloading and installing junk with spyware and such.

Ive never had a virus or spyware and i dont even use antivirus stuff.

My computer works fine.

buying the watch is not an investment, I just get to wear a nice watch for a bit and lose maybe 25% afterwards.

I still do not know what to invest in :(

the preceding has been windows 101 by bujuf.

I think as soon as the stores open you should go out and by something.
you will feel better.
and the guy in the store needs the money, he has a wife and kids to feed.

Has nothing to do with a pc locking up and asking for a password.
