Israel readies forces for strike on nuclear Iran
ISRAEL?S armed forces have been ordered by Ariel Sharon, the prime minister, to be ready by the end of March for possible strikes on secret uranium enrichment sites in Iran, military sources have revealed.

The crisis is set to come to a head in early March, when Mohamed El-Baradei, the head of the IAEA, will present his next report on Iran. El-Baradei, who received the Nobel peace prize yesterday, warned that the world was ?losing patience? with Iran.

Defence sources in Israel believe the end of March to be the ?point of no return? after which Iran will have the technical expertise to enrich uranium in sufficient quantities to build a nuclear warhead in two to four years.

The order to prepare for a possible attack went through the Israeli defence ministry to the chief of staff. Sources inside special forces command confirmed that ?G? readiness ? the highest stage ? for an operation was announced last week.

They aren't going to nuke Iran, they are just likely planning on attacking Iran's nuke facilities and probably their reactor.

Just like they did to Saddam way back when..

I think this was plane as day as something that is going to happen if Iran keeps working on nukes. Doesn't matter what anyone else says Israel isn't going to let them have nukes.

BTW we gave or sold Iseral some of our real nice bunker busting bombs about a year ago.. lol now who did yea think they were planning on using those on?

You don't see the big picture.

I've been saying for years now there was another reason for the U.S. invading Iraq.

Consider the united states military a buffer zone between the middle east & Israel.

Lets say Israel launches a strike, Iran would attempt to strike back, in order to do that they would have to launch their russian made missles over Iraqi airspace, which would then bring the United States into the war.

The U.S. would be on Iranian soil eventually.....Iranian oil is sold to whom? Who has a vested interest in keeping the U.S. out of Iran...other than the Iranians themselves?

It would be & probably is going to be the new cold war. IF we're lucky.

The other thing people don't realize is, a strike against Iran facilities would probably send Iranian soldiers into the war in Iraq.

Seeing as we don't have enough soldiers as it is, they would probably infact re-instate the draft.

So my suggestion? Get in shape, or get on prozac to disqualify yourself real quick.
