New Stem Cell Treatment Helps Famous Singer
http://www.suntimes.com/output/peopl...ftr-don08.html
This is incredible. Us old timers remember Don Ho the singer from Hawaii. He went to Thailand to get a new stem cell treatment for heart problems that is not approved of in the U.S. yet. Story says he's doing fine but still has some time to go. I pray he does well and is back at the microphone crooning. Asia is kicking America and Europe's asses in medical advances. They're charging less than 10% for the treatments too! We're being fucked with health care costs and we've poured trillions of dollars into finding cures and ain't cured shit since Polio over 50 years ago. Mark my words, in a few years, Asia will be the medical capitol of the world and cures for many illnesses will be found by them and bullshit pharmaceutical companies and health insurance companies here in the U.S. are gonna go out of business. I needed dental work and hair treatment done. I got hold of one of the major hospitals in Thailand. I have many friends there. By the time I calculated how much it would cost to get the treatments it damn near was the same as the round trip ticket! Guys I send to Thailand don't want to come home. Now I know why. |
Good for him, i hope people finally see what a crock of shit the american medical system is.

S. America could cash in huge on this medical treatment movement. Nurses are the key. Nurses run the world. Having someone who knows what they're doing to treat people is like the type of service that keeps people coming back. Bottom-fucking-line. |

See? This is what I'm talking about. The Chinese have been successfully testing an AIDS vaccine. Yet the Chinese don't get the egad amounts of money our medical people get to combat AIDS. Goes to show you how fucking incompetent our medical people are at handling fraud. |
There's a new alzheimer's medicine as well that has huge potential so far, but it's based on stem cells so the US is considering banning it. *grumble*

George Bush doesn't like stem cells :(
I guess TECHNICALLY, it's the Republicans that don't like 'em :) eitherway, I hope Asia does keep pushing the cloning/stem cell research, despite the grief America is giving them over it... It's too bad that Korean doctor resigned 3 weeks ago due to 'ethical irregularities'... when it wasn't even his fault! |
at least California is still leading the fight in stem cell research for America. I cant beleive how ignorant people in this country can be...simply throwing away the possibility to save lives becuase they see it as a religious issue. Arrrggghhh!
