	fuck its annoying. i am sure some of you are getting calls from the same company. and to make matters worse, they are calling the mainstream company that isn't even adult oriented. :321GFY theres a way to look for new customers and a way not to. congrats to this company for not knowing how to get new clients.  |

 I dont mind cold calls I was a executive recruiter so I made over 100 of them a day. What I mind is when they cold call dont have any fucking idea what we do. Like I got one calling telling me about gps for my fleet of delivery trucks. I was like I'm a internet based company lol.Also I have found most of the sales people I have encountered in adult are order takers basically.

 I had a rep call me last week that was going on and on about how great his offerings were for IP servies, can lower my costs by a minimum of 25% ( yet, I never gave them a figure as to what I do pay so how'd he come up with this I'll never know ) and still talking all the while I am trying to get a word in edgewise.... 
	he tells me to save my questions until the end?!!!?!?... The end of what??? So, I hear him out.... only to tell him once he shuts the fuck up... That my company is HIS companies SUPPLIER of services... his company is already MY customer and has been for the last 3 years. The rep admitted, he never bothered to look at my site.... he got my name and number from his managers apparently and they didnt know why they had it..... As a sales rep and channel manager for a slew of affiliates I can tell you if you are a salesperson reading this...Do the follwing: 1. Please do your homework *BEFORE* you call up people and pitch blindly 2. Please call only 1x - 2x a week ( not back to back days ) 3. Keep notes of who, what, and when you talked of. 4. If they ask you to go away, dont break out the hard sell....they'll hate you. 5. Dont name drop for most of the call with your contacts you met 1x at a show that dont know you if asked who the fuck you are and why are you calling. 6. **NEVER** quote prices unless you are 100000% sure you can honor them.  |
