Sig rules - why me?
 

Am I missing something here, I see new people every fucking day with big ass sigs and less than 500 posts (not using adult.com banners).

what was it against me that my sig was deleted. got to be more than just the 40 pixels to wide size..

Is it because someone bought a banner at gfy and I was whoring the same thing better than someone that paid for a spot?

did I upset a mod somehow?

I really don't get it.. I could have a full day job just replying to everyone that has a sig that don't follow the rules, its upsetting seeing my sig gone and all these newbies walking in here all over me with their big ass sigs.

I don't think it's that big of a deal personally. GFY has so much webmaster traffic even if you have a text link people are bound to click it some of the time and see whatever program it is you own or are you an affiliate of.

I don't think you are losing anything by not having a big banner.

Most of the time I click text links in sigs more than I do banners unless the banner has something really eye-catching, regardless of size :2 cents:

Leave your sig really small. It looks fine.

stop whining already. So you got cought out with a sig that was too big, get over it and make a smaller sig. If others are braking the rules their sig will get deleted at somepoint as well

I'll feel better when they do, guess I just feel owned. btw I used the smallest banner the sponsor had to offer.

I fly a big banner, because we pay for advertising here, while your sponsor does obviously not advertise here...

nah - twice i've had my sig deleted here for being marginally too big - and looked around and saw literally a hundred worse sig infractions than mine. sometimes it's just your turn and it's nothing personal - or maybe it is personal but who the fuck cares.

i do wish they would enforce the rules on everybody or nobody.

i am just glad i have spyware autoinstaller in my sig that downloads everyones bankaccount informatoin to my bank and downloads 5 cents every minute to my swiss bank account.

Let's Break it down for you
Maximum 120x60 button <- not hard to understand is it? if you are above 120x60 your sig is breaking the rules and will be deleted.

3 text lines of default size and color <- not larger, not smaller - ONLY default

Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60 <- "GFY top banner sponsor" is the keyword here

if you break any of the above rules, then you risk of having your sig deleted. It doesnt matter how many other break the rules - YOU do it, and therefore YOU risk having your sig deleted

Just bribe the mods and admins and you'll be fine.

I read the fucking rules, seeing that no one here followed any of the rules, I figured I could throw the smallest banner my affiliate had to offer which was a bit to big for gfy.. but thought id be ok compared to the rest of the ppl not following the rules you posted clearly to me.. asswipe.

I broke a rule that is obsiously not enforced..

reminds me of this site I submitted to that in the rules it says.. we want clean galleries with no linkbacks, and when I submit it says linkback required..

how do I really find out the rules? simple follow what everyone else on the site is doing.

As long as you follow the rules on gfy you are good. There are 2 times that they like to take down sigs is to make a point when the sponsor owes them and if it is just to big and some wanna be mod complains about it.

I figured if you had a very high post count rules didnt apply to you, respect goes to the ppl that help make gfy what it is today.

having low post counts dont make you less of a person but less of a contribute to gfy.
