Just view the person you want to delete history from, that limits you deletion to only that conversation record.

In the View History window select the part of the convo you want to delete and click the delete button. only the highlightes entries will be erased.

You have time to come over and do the 200 people on my list manually?

Part one of your original question has been answered. Part two is unclear but in the original context it appears you asked how to ONLY delete those which you want deleted.

For an individual contact or the entire ICQ history file?

If you want to dump everything from the entire history db you could just un-install/re-install icq real quick and that should do it. Your contact list is stored online so when you reconnect it will re-populate.

pornpf69 12-14-2005 05:27 AM

just go to the files and hit delete!

re-installing wont delete the history, because its saved on the harddisk and wont be deleted...
look for a directory with your ICQ number(directory again), in my case, its 2003b, since thats the ICQ Im using. There are your messages.
