Morpheus good or bad
 

Hey all,

Does anyone have opinions about Morpheus? Is it spyware? I read about it tracking some info but I was just curious about personal experiences...

I can't say that the new morpheus is bad because I have found a lot of stuff with it when I can connect to it (which is rare) but the thing gives you more pop ups than a circlejerk! Spyware... maybe... I know I just had to Format C: to get rid of something that was sending information out of my computer so it could have been a result of Morpeus's selling info. I couldn't find out what it was even after running multiple spyware & trojan horse checks! I'm behind 2 firewalls and one antivirus program so I thought my security was tight.

I'm saying all of this to say...

Equinox is right, Kazaa is better.

kazaa and morpheous are basically both the same thing - all those file sharing programs install xtra shit but thats just the way it is if you wanna dl shit, but for me lately none of those programs have been working, had to uninstall them all, except for audio galaxy satellite, which works like a champ for mp3

if Morph program is Spyware....sue the shit out of them since they have that 'no spyware' logo on thier site/homepage when it loads.

Of course you'll have to document your finding very diligently and get a good attorney... :)

Morpheus and Kazaa both have spyware in it..fortunately there is a site where u cand ownload a dummy .dll file so when u remove the spyware it works. But personally i use direct connect or WINMX for all of my file needs
