Question for those who buy traffic

What do you pay for gallery listings on some sites and how much traffic do you get on average for each gallery?

Playa-Deak 12-10-2005 06:11 PM

Great question... :thumbsup

Any answers?

Fucksakes 12-10-2005 06:23 PM

traffic numbers from a site don't mean shit, its the sales the site generates and how much you pay for that listing.

alot of sites are definatly way over priced, all these thumb sites with worthless traffic, growing big fast just to sell worthless traffic to webmasters that don't got a fucking clue.

I think it's the lack of educated webmasters that are the problem, not the sites selling shitty traffic..

Is this your answer to the question stated?

pornguy 12-10-2005 07:12 PM

We paid for a spot a few days ago. The gallery is getting at least 3k a day, but the click through ratio so far sucks ass so far.

Isn't it your job to make them click?

CTR is directly affected by the quality of the traffic sent to the gallery. This has at least as much to do with CTR as the gallery design.

That's not what I asked.

What did you pay?

BlingDaddy 12-10-2005 08:41 PM

Still waiting for an answer to Joe's Original question......

DTK 12-10-2005 08:45 PM

I doubt this thread will get many useful responses.............

teksonline 12-10-2005 08:59 PM

Joe, go for the top, but you have to wait for spots to open, the cheaper lower listed ones don't do well, you will need to be the operator of site as the upfront cash will not break even but long run reoccurring should if you have good site..

so to answer your quesiton, we don't buy gallery spots cuz all the spots
are taken by the big boys :)

Hope this helps

Nope, the traffic seller must send this magic quality of traffic that buys membership without any attempt at selling by the traffic buyer :1orglaugh

Not what I asked. I want to know how much people are paying and how much traffic they're getting.

AdPatron 12-10-2005 11:21 PM

It is the responsibility of the buyer to complete the sale.

go buy gallery spots on some 50% CJ tgp's and some spots on better quality sites put the same galleries on each and compare the results for CTR and sales ratios

good traffic quality can usually compensate for a poorly designed gallery page however a great page cannot compensate for poor quality traffic

I'm sure most of the traffic brokers will tell you otherwise however, most of them sell spots or traffic from the poorer quality sites

AdPatron 12-11-2005 10:04 AM

Still no answers :-(

fris 12-11-2005 10:35 AM

on certain blogs 1-5 sales per plug.

BTW, this wasn't intended as a swipe to the poster in this thread, toplist traffic is usually some of the better quality traffic available IMO

Joesho 12-11-2005 12:25 PM

well we have paid anywhere from 350.00 a month to 5,000 a month on various deals.

as far as how much traffic, well that question was answeared best, as we do get a lot of traffic from the different sources accordingly, but we are looking for the sources that provide sales rather than just raw traffic numbers.

teksonline 12-11-2005 12:36 PM

"Not what I asked. I want to know how much people are paying and how much traffic they're getting."

I know that, I love not answering your questions, just for that reply

some blogs i have a posting account on you can post a gallery a day or 2 a day.

traffic ranges from 5k up to 100k+ traffic and its mostly bookmarked. non of the traffic is skimmed.

people that trade with skimmed traffic they may send lots, so the quality is usually awful or just not worth it. so you either pay for top spots. and get the just of it. or get the bottom feeder and you are the lost fish in the sea. or you can maximize and try other ways of maximizing on your results.

My question is how much do people pay for gallery listings and how much traffic they get.

I'd still like to know the amount of traffic you got at those prices.

fris 12-11-2005 03:20 PM

one site i submit too each gallery depending on the thumb would get from 20k - 80k click thrus to the gallery. and it stays on the front page for the week. thats without skimming anywhere.

ilbb 12-11-2005 03:39 PM

It depends site to site...

You can be sure that someone that's getting gobs of traffic from cheap paid spots isn't gonna come here and tell you about it. :thumbsup

Marshal 12-11-2005 09:10 PM

i would never ever by a spot or traffic... it is just wasting of money. i wouldn't name the site, but i got only $166 (after month and a half, cumulative with rebills) for $400 worth traffic (50k uniques), definitely only bandwidth and time wasted...

can someone post his stats here? i would really like to know your experience...

the question that is still open is why the hell would anyone sell quality traffic?!
