so, i finally figured out why this z28 wont go in the snow... (pics)

I got 11.5 inches of snow, and for some reason I got the urge to take a 77 trans/am (with posi) out of the garage and go. It was.. uhhh.. interesting to say the least. I know the feeling.

theres an understatement. The rear tires are BF goodrich t/a's and the fronts are grand prix G/T's, the rears have plenty of traction in the snow, the fronts seem to have nothing... so you step on the brake, put it in drive and without hitting the gas the rear is pushing the car while the fronts are locked up and sliding down the road. The ONLY way to stop is to have it in neutral. Luckily there wasnt much out on the roads as I ski'ed thru stop signs.

Heh, I've got a 96 T/A with z-rated tires..
ported heads, cam, tuning, longtubes, etc...

it's a beast to drive even when the pavement is cold...

haven't driven it in 3 years now though, cause I've seen how people in this damn city treat their cars.. touch parking, opening doors on to each other, etc...
so, it's 3500km in a garage :)

about the only thing ive found it to be good for at this point is to plow the driveway ;)
