I saw Kidd play in High School at the CIF games. He ran circles around my schools players.

i used to play at the r.s.f. at cal in the gym and kidd would run with us common people. he was a ball hog and shot 100% of the time so we used to avoid playing with him. it was worth it though because he took cal to the sweet 16 and such..

This might be one of the most rediculous things I've ever heard. Find me on NBA player, coach, commentator or owner that would agree with that.

Now Kidd may have a bit of a higher average in some catagories and Lebron is a bit higher in others, but when you look at them all the catagories are pretty damn close ... except one. Points per game. Lebron is averaging twice the amount as Kidd.

This tells me they both do a little of everything but Lebron scores way more while doing the same things as Kidd.

Kidd is a great pt guard but there is no way in hell he is better than Lebron. Now if your talking about who makes his teammates better then that would have to go to Steve Nash. Other than that I don't see how Kidd and Lebron can be compared. There is also no way Lebron is the best player in the NBA but he sure has all the tools. Maybe in a few years but right now he still needs to develop.

Oh yeah .... Lebron is only 20 and Kidd is 33. Lebron will have better numbers than Kidd not only by the end of the season but also the end of his career.

What's Kidd gonna be like in 3 years? 37 years old with a high basketball IQ, but over LeBron? King James will only be 23 and at his improvement rate per season, he'll be off the charts.
