password protection? Scripts
 

Ok..

here's what I want..

I have a form user fills out.. they choose their own login.. I want script to send them a confirmation emai.. after they click the link, I want the script to generate a password for them & email it to them.. I also want the script to write the user/pass info to the htaccess password protection???

What are the names of some scripts that do this..

SpaceDog, do a search on google for FormMail.pl

This can be configured to take care of that - however without payhosting and the ability to access perl it won't work - and I dont know of any remotely hosted places that do this for you.
