Study: Drivers who live near a Church are 10% less likely to get into a crash.

The bottom line: Drivers living within a mile of a church are the safest - 10 percent less likely to crash than their fellow drivers, the report found.

Alternately, drivers residing within a mile of a restaurant are 30 percent more likely to be in an accident, the study found.

But some of the study's other conclusions seemed counterintuitive. For example, motorists living near elementary schools are in more accidents than those living near a liquor store - 26 percent more likely versus 18 percent.

I actually live near several churches, resturants, liquer stores and one school. Wonder what that means.

How about drivers with a blonde girl seating with them on the front seat most likely get into accident than those who drive alone?

well it's kind of obvious.... places with resturants are high traffic areas full of people coming out of resturants with a few beers in them.. churches tend to be low traffic and on bigger blocks of less built up land usually without liquor stores next door. :2 cents:
