Midway is set up so close to the street that I am surprised it hasn't happened before. The earlier news reports said there was 6 inches of snow but that the runway was fne for landings.......guess they were wrong!

Soooo glad I moved to Florida :)

So I barely show up an hour early for my flight, and then they say it is cancelled. I go get smashed for an hour at a bar at LAX, and then go stand in line to wait another 25 minutes to finally take off...

Of course, no one at SWA bothered to tell us why our flight was "cancelled".

So what did we get for the inconvenience? NADA!!!

Well, at least I arrived home safely, albeit late.
