I'm researching to buy a car - any suggestions?

I'm researching for my first sports car - any suggestions? I have a sport SUV and a luxury sedan - so I really only need a 2 seater. I have considered to get a Noble M400 or the M14 - has anyone here ever driven one?

Personally a fan of the Lotus Exige even though it is only a 1.8.

Oh and dare I call you a sig whore with a post count of 10 and you registered in 2002?

I haven't driven the Lotus yet, if it is anything they say that it is it'll be awesome.

Here's a good video about the Lotus.

Right around in that same price range I would also look at the Wiesmann but stay away from the TVR Tuscan2 unless power is more important than a well built car.

Are you in the US?

Most of those days are gone with the Quattrovalve systems. Ferrari does make a good car, but selection is everything.

they look simular

3M TA3 12-08-2005 10:35 PM

very similar in size.

I'm not sure of the availability of the Wiesmann, but it is worth looking into as well.

I wish we had cars like this in the states. Might be a good reason to move to Canada.

Your in the UK right? get a TVR, i currently own a Tuscan.

Very fast & attracts a lot of attention!

or you could go for a Sagaris, if you can afford a Noble i expect you can afford one of those.

TVRs are great. I'm in love with the Tuscan. My neighbour has a Tuscan S, what a brilliant car.

Daruma, you do realise there is a 20-25k difference between those two Nobles?

Darth_Porn 12-09-2005 03:59 AM

Dude ... forget all this BullShit ... if you can afford a proper sports car buy a Porsche 911 (preferably) or a Mercedes SLK 55 AMG (if you cant get a 911).

If you want to spend more money ... then go for an Aston Martin DB9 (which is fast but not 100% sports car - more like a GT car)

Dont even go to Ferrari ... that shit is for posers and rednecks.
