Anyone got the Ergotron dual monitor stand?
 

Does this thing supposed to come with screws to hook it up with thos monitors? I got mine today without ant screws!

Should I return this due to the missing srews?

use the screws that was attaching the monitor to it's original stand..

don't remember if mine came with the screws or not.

There are only two screws on each monitor and there not the same size needed for the stand.

I've got a 4-way ergotron setup, and it came with 4 thumbscrews for each of the monitor mounts. I wouldn't return it; just call them and I'm sure they'll send 'em to you.

Don't they sell screws where you live? seems like it would cost more in shipping fees than it would be to just go to a screw place and buy some..

according to the manual pdf, it should have come with the screws.

I don't know the size nor the lenght I need to as at my hardware store and I doubt it the have such screws!

I paid $150US+$30US to ship it to Montreal. I can't imagine someone would want to pay twice as much for such a thing!

tell them to overnight the missing screws to you at their cost. they will.

Call the company and let them fix that up.. That rocks dide! :thumbsup

I will hit them up now that I know it should have come with some screws.

anyone have a pic of their monitors on that stand, i have a 19" DellUltra sharp, was thinking of getting a 2nd one

i got one somewhere.. let me look.

i lost the screws one time in a move, went to a place that sold them and the guy just gave me more. took them right off the store model.

I wish the foot was much smaller. That big ass foot takes up half the lenght of my desk like my previous CRT monitor did :(

I just found out that the Ergotron is no good for my Benq monitors. There no place on the back of my monitors to fasten the stand. :mad:

what model benq monitors are they?

according to the spec, they're vesa 100x100... which is exactly what my viewsonics are... so the ergotron should work fine.

The holes on the stand are 4" apart from one another while those on my monitor are 5" apart! They don't fit.

Can I see a picture of the back of your setup?

There are two VESA "standards" -- 100mm and 75mm (I think; maybe it's 80mm). Anyway, the stand should have come with little adapter plates (and screws for them!). Mind did. Sounds like you got a pretty incomplete kit.

Yeah I got an incomplete set with missing screws and the 100mm plates. I guess the custom forgot to put back it in when they opened the box. I'm waiting for these part to arrive....
