How much is a gallery reviewer worth hourly?
 

I mean if you were to pay them cash in lieu of top spots or traffic, and they say they can review 100 galleries an hour.

About $5-$6 an hour since it is not a skilled job.

Perhaps pay them by the day and let them determine how long that day is.

100 reviews a hour is alot to do you want them to have a good look ? also a good reveiwer will help you get bookmarks so there is a big diference between reviewers.Pay them what there worth if he is makeing you money and growing the site keep him happy.

Quality reviewer would be worth $8-10 an hour.

But they'd need to do other tasks too, like answer email etc.

I'm inclined to agree.
Unless it's a high traffic TGP, if you start paying $8 an hour, you'll end up paying your reviewer more than most TGP's are worth.

good people cost money - you get what you pay for. If you pay a gallery reviewer minimum wage, you GET a minimum wage quality reviewer that doesn't give a shit about your site. If you pay a GOOD wage you tend to (not always though) get people who will not only work for you but work with you.
