At least put a timer that the mouse gotta be on it for 2 seconds before sounds start. FUCKING ANNOYING when I wake up in the morning and my head is about to explode.

All sponsors using sound in their flash banner should be shot by air marshalls.

gfy should ban sounds on top banners. i hate it with a passion. almost as much as i hate idiots who put sound on their websites when the index page loads.

then how do we see the ads? some of us actually like to know about companies and what their advertisements look like

i personally think it could even be a 1 second delay.......cause the only time it happens to me is when I roll the mouse over the banner, and it just a split second really

To disable embedded sounds, add this to your userContent.css if you're using firefox:

embed[src*=?.mid?] { display: none !important }
embed[src*=?.mp2?] { display: none !important }
embed[src*=?.mp3?] { display: none !important }
embed[src*=?.mp4?] { display: none !important }
embed[src*=?.wav?] { display: none !important }

the userContent.css's file path will be similar to this path in windows:

If nobody clicked on the banners and signed up as an affiliates the the site owners would stop using sounds.

also, how bout not having 60 second sounds? If i accidentally mouse over, i don't want to listen "suckin on my titties, ain't nothin going in my ass" for another five fucking minutes then to just slip up and mouse over once again.

if I never heard sound on any part of a web site again I would still die happy. ALWAYS put a fucking option to turn it off :/
