Netflix or Blockbuster?

Which one of these services are better? I'm thinking about signing up for one to get some movies in the mail.

Pilforgod 12-08-2005 10:22 AM

..

I have netflix and a distrubution center about an hour away. I love it, can get new movies when they come out no problem. They pay all the shipping and everything and I get the next movie fast from them. I hate blockbuster F them.

Fetish Gimp 12-08-2005 10:25 AM

Bittorrent 4 life YARRRRRRRRR.

Sosa 12-08-2005 10:36 AM

Netflix works great if you have a center near you so it doesn't take as long.

Holly 12-08-2005 11:01 AM

I did it for my parents and we went with Blockbuster because you get two free in store rentals per month. They have a store near them so if there's something they really, really want, my mom can just pop in and pick it up without waiting.

definatly netflixx

Babagirls 12-08-2005 11:05 AM

NETFLIX :thumbsup

although, if you're a gamer, you might wanna pick BB.

C H R I S 12-08-2005 11:06 AM

Net flix for sure - why would anyone give blockbuster any money after how they raped everyone with the late fees.

Thurbs 12-08-2005 11:08 AM

definately netflix steve :) I'll give u my queue in RSS for a shirt! come back out to cali and buy your round of port!

Maxy 12-08-2005 11:11 AM

Anything I wanna see is usually worth buying....so blockbuster for those uncommon times when i need to rent some shit at the moment.

gornyhuy 12-08-2005 11:14 AM

netflix, but if you want something really bad and really fast just go pay $4 to rent it locally.

Eric 12-08-2005 11:31 AM

Netflix for sure. But if I want something bad enough I will just go buy it... If I like it I will keep it. If I don't... half.com sells it quick.

Shok 12-08-2005 11:37 AM

blockbuster blows, the movies are old as shit releases.
I dumped it and got Netflix.
It's a billion times better and delivery is like 2 days.

phasic 12-08-2005 11:41 AM

Neither, they both suck. Get a movie pass at your local Blockbuster Video

Shok 12-08-2005 11:55 AM

plus blockbuster edits movies

netflix if edit free

Sarah_Jayne 12-08-2005 01:17 PM

In the UK the Blockbuster service is excellent and they don't edit.

E Guru 12-08-2005 01:19 PM

I had blockbuster and they were pretty good usualy 1-2 days for shipping
Plus you can use those 2 tickets to rent video games also in store

MacDaddyPlaya 12-08-2005 01:22 PM

Fuck Blockbuster. They fucked everyone for years with late fees. Then Netflix came along and rocked their world. Changed the entire business model for renting movies. Now Blockbuster wants in, so I say to Blockbuster..GFY

ModelPerfect 12-08-2005 01:23 PM

I tried both. Netflix rocks. Blockbuster sucks.
Netflix: distribution center 2 hours away, 1-2 day turn around time, no bad dvds, no long waits for big movies
Blockbuster: 5-6 day turn around time, 1/2 of the dvds I got were damaged and unplayable, long wait time for some movies. 2 instore free rentals is a plus.

exactly how my experience went with BB and netflix.

Furious_Female 12-09-2005 02:38 AM

We have Netflix and it's pretty good, but 1 out of 3 movies are scratched all to hell and skip/lag when playing :disgust

They are delivered really fast though

emthree 12-09-2005 02:55 AM
