What's your favorite board game?
 

We get together with friends about once a week to play board games.
Our favorites right now are Outburst and Balderdash.

I'm thinking of buying our friends some new ones for Xmas and I'm wondering what's popular/fun to play.

you cant beat a game of monopoly were all the players will actually hang in to the end

My favorite is a German game called Seidlar von Cattan, I think thats right.

even as a kid i hated them - i was kicked out of many homes for ruining games of Risk - nerds!

but if i had to play one - a good game of Mousetrap or Operation.

and i rule at Trivial Pursuit - but hated that game too.

Yep monopoly still kicks ass!

I like an old knock-off of Monopoly called Easy Money. Same principles but played better. I kicked ass at that game, probably why I like it.

BTW that's a great game, I used to play it all the time it gets pretty addictive specially with the expansions.

Monopoly is always good, but Risk (original version) and Trivial Pursuit are my two favorites.
