Running 3 monitors
I have dual monitors right now, and just can't seem to be working as efficient as I would like to. I want to add a third but am not sure the best way to do this.
I currently only have 1 video card that accepts dual monitors. I think I need to add a second card ? I only have one video slot and its in use .. not sure if I could use a regular PCI card? Any suggestions? Thanks! |
Yes, you'd have to purchase a PCI version of the card and it'll work fine. Make sure to select "boot from AGP" card in the BIOS so it skips the PCI card when you boot up.

I have an old crappy PCI card from a p3-733 kicking around .. Will this be ok ? Is it that easy?
I am currently running hydravision with my 2 monitors and can scroll my mouse across these 2.. the third will be included right, and its configurable most likely in the same software? Thanks again! |

My nForce2 worked fine with a 3-head setup. Quote:
