Is RAZR phone a good present?
 

I was thinking for a long time what to get for my boyfriend's birthday, and a thought that he would want a new cellphone.. so i decided to get him a razr phone.. but now i'm just so confused and i dunno if it's a good present or not.. :helpme

I just got one and I love it. Although I had to return the first one I got since it wouldn't charge. With the Bluetooth and Motorola's PhoneTools program, you can load MP3s as your ringtones, so you can put all kinds of wacky shit on it to ring.

I just got one a week ago and it's a great phone. There are a few things I don't like about the motorola menu and system but overall it's very nice.

Think about the fact it has very small storage memory and no flash cards are available...

Have to say I am on my 3rd one and I hate the thing, limited battery, limited memory, few calls on the list.

I heard that they get shitty reception, do a search on it, and you'll see a lot of negative reviews.

I have heard nothing but terrible things about the phone...

but that's just me

get him something a lil more fancy
the new blackberrys are awsome with the gps

Corvett has one and I used it last Thursday. Great phone. I need to replace my current phone and looked into it and Verizon has a special deal for long time customers - buy one get one free. So my wife is getting one too!

i like my razr - its a pretty safe bet! hope the recipient doesnt have giant hands though

They are giving them away if you sign up for cingular, so you know damn well, they must not be that great.

Don't cheap out if he is your boyfriend. Buy him the new BlackBerry8700c, and pay the monthly fee for a year in advance. NOW THAT'S A PRESENT !! :thumbsup
