How many of you have actually used your college degrees for what they were intended to be for?

<---psych major, been doing computer work for 11 years.

i'm in college right now, 2rd year.

though, i dont think I will ever earn a degree, I do enjoy learning.

Architecture and Math...Currently use them both. I'll never work for anyone.

Yeah, SEO revolves strongly on Combinatorics & Optimization and the Computer Science portion of my degree gives me a strong technical and programming background so I would say yes.

Professionally I haven't, but it sure has come in handy in other instances when I either wanted to bore people to death or make them look/feel really stupid.

A degree major in Accounting here..

I double majored in Political Science and Music & Entertainment Industries (university of Miami). Worked in the music biz for a while then moved over to the porn biz. My original plan was to be an entertainment lawyer, but I ended up not going to law school. The way I see it is that it's all entertainment -- whether it's music, movies, or porn.

Asking this on a webmaster board isn't a good way to gather information... but at a certain extent, we all use what we learned in school.
