Need a CMS System for videos
 

Must have:

Be able to make categories
Be able to make subcategories
Information about # of videos in each category
Information about the videos in each subcategory ( such as model name etc. etc )
Built in templets for easy design
Database backbone
Must be able to link atleast 4 different versions of the same clip on each page
http feed
download link for each clip
Video clips must be streamed on a html page
include tags must work for *.mov,*.wmv,*.mpg
Search functions
Thumbnail for each clip

CARMA basically supports all what you posted above. Depends a little bit on exact setup you want to have though, in terms of categories and sub categories that is.

Checked it out and it looks good ;-) But this is a full blown CMS, we "only" need it for our video section. It would be like driving a F1 race car on a dirt road ;-)

Maybe Joomla ( Mambo) with the appropriate plugins ...

Or PHPWCMS ( I use it for something similar ) at http://www.phpwcms.de/

we at prodinix have a pretty tight video cms... althought ours does ppm, ppv, drm and the likes, we can rip that stuff out if you don't want any of it... essentially fully customizable with what we have.

some of the things our video cms does:
titles, genres, studios, box covers or images (auto resize as many times as you want), auto grab frames from video, and much more.

i have the prodinix system up and running for wmv ppm/ppv, and it's pretty sweet :thumbsup
and they've been great as far as working with me to customize/change/provide what i need for my specific content and members :)

Gallery2 insanely cheap (free) for how well coded it is. Does video. auto thumbs blah blah blah. Can't hurt to try it.
