Five deer commit suicide
 
Five Deer Leap to Deaths From W.Va. Garage

RANSON, W.Va. - Either they misjudged the distance or they couldn't take the traffic. For reasons that mystify authorities, five deer that made their way onto the top of a five-story parking garage suddenly leaped to their deaths Sunday.

Police Cpl. Steve Cox found the does' bodies on a service road to the Charles Town Races & Slots, next to a security van they'd narrowly missed.

"They took the plunge," he said. "It was just absolutely weird."

A woman called police when she saw the deer falling, and Cox said he found scratches and animal hair on the fifth floor, indicating that's where they had been.

It's unclear how the deer got into the garage, but Cox said they may have become frightened after getting trapped. Cars moving through the garage may have spooked them, he said.

Or they could have been fooled by trees that can be seen from the top of the garage, mistakenly thinking they were close to home.

The carcasses were given to passers-by for butchering.

maybe i'm just biased because I havent eaten any meat in like two weeks

meat is over rated. you dont really need it, not to mention all the fucked up hormones they pump into cattle nowadays. pretty unnatural.

deer is tastey but I would never go around collecting carcasses and eating them.

first of all, if you think we're advanced as a species because of robotic arms, you're wrong. we only have a few hundred thousand years of genetics to work on, which is fucking nothing compared to most other species.. we have a LOT of work, we're very flawed.

second of all, if humans "weren't meant to eat meat", then what about our ancestors who've lived long and healthy? so whether or not we're MEANT to eat meat is irrelevant, because certainly we won't croak over and die.

and thirdly, who gives a fuck? just because a group of deer decide to jump off a building, doesn't mean their carcasses or somehow sacred and must be preserved, LOL. you want a fucking funeral for em' too or what? fucking USE that shit. liberals are always crying about the homeless and the needy, offer it up and don't let it go to waste.
